Shipping per product plugin for VitueMart 2.0 gives you more options about shipment method depend on amount of products in cart. If you want customise shipment cost depend on amount of products that customer added to the cart, you can enter start amount and stop amount of range to apply the cost. For example, you entered start amount is 0, stop amount is 10 and cost is 5, when customer adds 4 products to the cart and then checkout, shipment cos will be $5. For another range, you just add new shipment method and chose method is Per Products, entered some parameter, save that.

How to install plugin?

The first thing you need is install Per Products plugin: Go to Extensions menu, Extension Manager, Install, browse plugin file and press Install.

To enable plugin, go to Extensions menu, Plug-in Manager, Select type vmshipment, check PER_PRODUCTS and press Enable at admin bar.

The plugin is now ready for your shop. To create shipment method by Per Products. Follow this:

Go to Component menu, VirtueMart and click Shop in left menu

Click on Shipment Methods and click New in admin bar

Enter Shipment name, Shipment Description and select Shipment method is Per_Products, enter list order and click Save in admin bar.

Now you can go to Configuration tab to enter the parameters for your shipment method your have just created. Like this:

Click Save in admin bar.

You now completed creating a new shipment method for your shop, do the same but other parameters for new shipment method Per Products.

Now please see Front-end, it will show you how plugin works.

Go to the shop and buy some products. Example, we buy 10 Hand Shovels.

Now click on Show Cart to check out

We have 10 products in cart. Because we setup 2 shipment method on Shipping Per Product plugin (0-10 products & 10-50 products) so we can select shipment method by click on Select Shipment link.

If we have less or more than 10 products, we only have 1 shipment method and we can not select other shipment method.

When clicked on Select Shipment link, there are two Shipment methods to chose. Click Save.

Now shipment method is chosed, click on check out button to continue.
